She works in IT and is currently at Microsoft’s TechEd in Auckland. (Think of Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference just held in San Fran and you get the picture). Now the company she works for is… well… loved… by Microsoft. Now it seems that the product that they produce will only work effectively with IE. Using Firefox. Why? Have a Mac? Forget about it! I was told that in the “real world”… I think this is code for men in suits, the only people that matter?!?…, that people only cared about IE. Corporate Barbie indeed! Stylesheets set certain "appearance" standards for the content (text size, style etc.) on a HTML site, without this function, some HTML sites especially those more advanced will look different to the viewer. Maybe Mr Squiggle would like to comment more? So much for MS moving forward. This is contempt indeed! why should we as savvy consumers stand for it. Unite with Idle thoughts and I and use Firefox...you'll never look back. If you are a MAC user however, then stick with Safari, it's just as good!
